I know I've done a french toast post on here before, but after making my brioche bread pudding I had some left over brioche. So decided to do a post with some updated pictures. If you wanna know how to make this keep on reading.
Ingredients:
Brioche, 4 thick slices
3 medium eggs
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Oil for frying
In a bowl mix all of the ingredients together.
In the same bowl, dip your bread in the egg mixture. Make sure to leave the bread in the egg for about 1 minute so it fully soaks up the mix.
In a pan heat up a knob of butter and some oil, if you just do butter it will burn. Ask me how I know? :/ Cook you french toast until golden brown on each side.
Serve with lashings of maple syrup and dust with some icing sugar.
You could also serve with some fruit.
