The Breakfast Club

Hey guys,

I love Liverpool Street and the surrounding areas (Shoreditch and Spitalfields) because there are all these hidden gems scattered around the area.

I had heard of the breakfast club before but had never looked into going there. But I jumped at the opportunity when my friend Stevie suggested it for a girls day out.

Décor

They have very interesting/peculiar pieces placed in and around the restaurant. One of my favourite things (which I stupidly did not get a picture of) was a door that looked like the door of a vintage 1950s refrigerator. The Breakfast Club messaged me and let me know that behind the refrigerator door is actually a bar.

Food

The atmosphere was buzzing! I've never been to a place where I've had to wait to be seated. But it was defo worth the wait once I sat down and ate.

We all started off our meal with the same drink the ELVIS SHAKE - made with proper vanilla ice cream, peanut butter and banana. This is one of the best milkshakes I've ever had. Then the standard coke.

This was the most amazing breakfast I've ever had, and I'm not exaggerating. I found it hard to chose from the array of dishes they had to offer. I settled on the All American - Pancakes, eggs, sausage, home-style fried potatoes, streaky bacon and maple syrup. I can't describe how nom-tastic this food was. There was so much bacon on my plate I could barely see the rest of my meal. The potatoes were unreal and the best eggs I've eaten in ages. I was shocked by the size of the portion on offer, it took me over an hour to consume my plate - I was not going to be defeated haha.

The best part about this restaurant (apart from the food) is the wall paper in the bathroom. It was my little pony wall paper, and some of the patrons decided to give the ponies a little sass and attitude. It's always nice to have something to read in the bathroom haha.

I'm not sure why you'd wanna kiss the walls of a public toilet...but hey, each to their own.

This one has to be my favourite.

Seriously I could not recommend this place enough. The food was amazing and the service was awesome. The wait staff are super friendly and accommodating.
