Hey guys,
I completely forgot that I had this post to write...FAIL! This is a recurring theme in my life lol.
A litle while back I headed to Liverpool Street to a lovely restaurant to celebrate my aunt's birthday. As you do before you visit any restaurant you check the menu to see if there is anything you will like. Welll that's what we do in my house. I was really looking forward to family time and delicious noms. It's situated down one of the cute side streets across the road from Liverpool Street Station.
After enjoying the pics, read about my experience at this restaurant.

Starter
(This was a serving for 2)
Main
The poshest fish finger sandwich I've ever had haha.
What did I have?
Beverages: Standard coke and the most delicious cocktail called Rossini - prosecco mixed with strawberry puree.
Starter: Mini fishcakes with garlic mayonnaise
Main: Fish finger sandwich served with salad and fries
Dessert: Didn't make it to dessert, but I would've had the brownie.
My experience:
Well we got seated quickly which was the smoothest part of the evening, only our table was missing seats but they acted quickly to resolve the issue.
Now here starts the mess that was this evening...ordering our starters and mains was such a kerfuffle. They had run out of most of the items we wanted to order, how are you gonna run out of fish in a fish restaurant? And they ran out of lobster as well which my aunt was really looking forward to, tut tut.
It took them like 30 minutes just to bring us our drinks, even though we were seated by the bar.
Only half the starters turned up, which took them like an hour to bring out, and then mains turned up before certain people had received starters and that again took them ages to bring out. I was so throroughly disappointed with the service. We were so annoyed we didn't make it to dessert. It's really sad cos what I did manage to eat was nice.
The waiter we had was so lovely and very apologetic for the clusterf*** that was our evening, I think I went easy on him cos he was cute haha.
So my mother wrote a letter of complaint to the restaurant regrading our evening and they were more than happy to compensate us for the meal and even offered my mother and aunt a free meal at their convenience.
S xxx
