Hey guys,
So during the last bank holiday I got to attend the Foodies Festival at Hampton Court Palace.
I've never been to a food event before so I was quite excited to go and see what was on offer. I was less excited when I heard of thee kinds of food available for example Spring Bok, Zebra, Ostrich, Buffalo...erm no. That is not my thing at all. But that wasn't gonna stop me going so me, my sister and her friend made the loooong trip to West London.
It was such a lovely day, the weather was beaut, I probably would've enjoyed the day more if I wasn't surviving on 2 hours sleep. But it was still a really good day.
On the walk up to the event there was a nice little bit of scenery to be looked at and admire. We visited Hampton Court palace where King Henry VIII used to spend his time, such a gorgeous building. I should so live in a palace haha.
I'm definitely gonna try and attend some more food events, its always good to try different things. And one great thing I got out of this event was this AMAZING Tiramisu which I posted about on my instagram.It was a good experience and I got to discover some new foods that I didn't even know existed. I also saw my first spit roasted pig.

NOW ONTO THE FOODIE EVENT
I never branched out the specialised meats but I did try my first ever macaron here, some flavours were hit and miss but the ones that were a hit were SO GOOD. So I am definitely a fan of macarons :)
