I've been rather quiet on this blog, due to the fact I actually haven't been baking/cooking that much.
But recently I made some treats for my best friends birthday. So I may have forgotten to take step by step pics, but I did manage to get the final product photographed :)
I made two separate things.
I made her Lemon cupcakes cos I'd made these for her before and she really liked them so I thought I'd do it again. This recipe made soooooo many it was ridiculous, the batter almost overflowed in the mixing bowl.
The icing kinda went into the middle of the cupcakes cos while they were cooking I wanted to check that they wee done but stupid me used a knife which kinda left a hole in them haha *facepalm* But it ended up being a happy accident cause it kinda was like it had a filling. They tasted very good, so light and moist :) The next time I make these I will defo do a step by step blog on them :)
The next thing I made her was Chocolate and peanut butter brownies. I made these because she LOVES Reese's cups and thought well this is kinda similar just in cake form :) Theses I didn't taste, but she assured me that they tasted good haha When I made them they were a bitch to get out of the tray, next time I will grease the baking parchment as well.And like the cupcakes next time I will do a step by step for you :)
